Cold Start. The Ford Bronco Goodyears will have the name hidden. Know why?

Admittedly suitable for off-road practice, it is natural that the tires goodyear wrangler have been chosen to equip the newly presented Ford Bronco.

The problem is that the new Ford Jeep intends to face the Jeep Wrangler, which, as you have already noticed, is the namesake of those tires. Therefore, the North American brand made an agreement with Goodyear.

To prevent the Ford Broncos from going down the road with your rival's name clearly visible on the outside wall of their tyres, Goodyear Wranglers will only have the brand name and not the model visible.

In official launch images the tires still appear with the name of the main rival of the Ford Bronco.

However, the Wrangler name will continue to be present, only out of sight, appearing only on the inner sidewall of the tyres.

According to Ford spokesman Sam Schembari, “The Wrangler name will be removed from the outside tire sidewall. Ford Bronco owners won't see the name unless they remove the tires from the vehicle.”

When asked why the name does not disappear completely from the tire, Schembari recalled that this “is part of the aftermarket branding” of the tire brand.
