Showing a more aggressive style, the Audi RS5 Sportback account, under the bonnet, with the same V6 2.9 TFSI biturbo of the Coupé, delivering an identical 450 hp of power and 600 Nm of torque, as well as coupled to the well-known eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission.
With the quattro system (four-wheel drive) operating permanently, ensuring a power distribution between axles of 40:60 — it can reach 85% for the front wheels and 70% for the rear —, and the that it is also possible to add an optional electronic rear locking differential with torque vectorization, the RS5 Sportback announces accelerations from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.9 seconds, with the maximum speed appearing, in the case of equipped units with Dynamic Plus pack, at 280 km/h.
Wider, lower, more aggressive
Wider in the hip area (+15 mm) than the standard model, in addition to 7 mm shorter, this version comes equipped with 19″ wheels, more generous air intakes, which contribute to a more aggressive air.
Inside, the Audi Virtual Cockpit stands out, as well as a generous touchscreen, part of the MMI entertainment system. The latter, already with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, in addition to a series of features exclusive to the RS versions.

For now, the Audi RS5 Sportback presented will only be available in the American and Canadian markets from the second half of 2018. At the moment, there is no confirmation of when and even if it will arrive in Europe someday…
