The customization program for Pininfarina Baptist — an electric hyper-GT technically identical to the ballistic Rimac Nevera — it doesn't stop with the 13.9 trillion unique combinations for the exterior. For the interior, there are a “modest” 128 million unique combinations.
Excessive? Most likely. But it shows what can be achieved with Automobili Pininfarina's personalization program.
The first Pininfarina Battista resulting from this program has now been shown, having been inspired by New York City (USA).
It has an exterior in three tones — red, white and blue — with the particularity that blue (the main tone) is not painted. It's the tone of the fabric itself that is part of carbon fiber (in this case Blu Iconica), an option the brand calls Exposed Signature Carbon.
The red and white stripes are effectively painted, but they are applied by hand, in a process that takes hundreds of hours.
Inside (no pictures) the seats are in black leather, while their carbon fiber backs have the same finish as seen on the outside. There are inserts in Alcantara (Iconica Blu), topstitching in red and white, and notes also in red (logos) and white (seat belts).
