Starting with the engines, the biggest news in this “new” Citron C1 lies in the evolution of the three-cylinder 1.0 petrol, shared with the 108 and the Aygo. In this more urban model, to debit 72 hp of power (+4 hp), and already compliant with the Euro 6.2 anti-emissions standard and prepared for the WLTP and RDE tests.

The new engine is available with both manual and automatic transmission.

In technological terms, we highlight the provision of solutions such as MirrorLink, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, through the infotainment system with a 7-inch touchscreen. The customer can also add the rear camera, traffic sign recognition system, in addition to keyless access and ignition. Without forgetting, in the field of safety, technologies such as Lane Transposition Warning, Automatic City Braking System and Starting Aid on Hill Climbs.

Two new versions, for now only in France

The renovated Citroën C1 also has two new special editions, Urban Ride and ELLE, available in France, for €14,450 and €14,950, respectively. In both cases, synonymous with more equipment and customized solutions. Know them in more detail in the gallery:

Urban Ride. More masculine image. Covers for specific mirrors in Caldera Black, tinted side windows, 15” black alloy wheels; palette of five exterior colors, including the Calvi Blue of the image. It is based on the Shine equipment level, it is available with 5 doors and Airscape. It features specific colored applications in the interior, blue upholstery, glossy black upholstery, dashboard with decals and rugs with the version's initials.

Both special versions are already available, for order, in France, offered with the aforementioned three-cylinder. Afterwards, the customer can choose between manual and automatic teller machines.
