Meet the first two Lamborghini Sián to arrive in the UK

Anonim

In total 63 will be produced Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 and 19 Lamborghini Sián Roadster . Of these, only three will make it to the UK and, interestingly, they were all sold by the same dealer, Lamborghini London — one of the brand's most successful distributors.

The first two copies have already reached their destination and, considering the small number of Sián to be produced, Lamborghini London did not shy away from marking the moment with a photo shoot with the London capital as a backdrop.

The pair of these rare Italian supersports, of course, were carefully customized by their new owners.

The black model comes in Nero Helene shade with accents in Oro Electrum and several elements in carbon fiber. The interior follows the same color scheme, with Nero Ade leather upholstery with Oro Electrum topstitching.

The gray copy comes in the Grigio Nimbus shade with Rosso Mars details. Inside we also have Nero Ade leather upholstery with contrasting accents in Rosso Alala.

Lamborghini Sián, much more than a modified Aventador

The Lamborghini Sián is the Italian brand's first electrified supercar. An aid that makes Sián the most powerful road Lamborghini ever, reaching 819 hp . Of this expressive number of horses, 785 hp comes from the 6.5 l atmospheric V12 — the same as the Aventador, but here even more powerful — while the missing 34 hp comes from the electric motor (48 V) that is coupled to the transmission seven-speed semi-automatic.

The electric machine differs from other hybridized proposals in that it doesn't come with a battery, but with a super-condenser. It is capable of storing 10 times more energy than a Li-ion battery and is lighter than a battery with equal capacity. The electric machine adds only 34 kg to the Sián kinematic chain.

In addition to the “boost” of power, the engineers of the Italian brand say that it allows for an improvement in recoveries by around 10%, and the electric motor is also used to smooth out the gear changes, “injecting” torque during the transition interval. The advantage of the super-condenser is that it takes both charging and discharging time — in mere seconds — with charging being provided by regenerative braking.

Predictably the Lamborghini Sián is fast, very fast: it only takes 2.8s to reach 100 km/h (2.9s for the Roadster) and reaches 350 km/h of top speed.

Finally, the rarity also dictates the price: 3.5 million euros, excluding taxes.
