Grandma with a Lamborghini Countach abandoned in the garage

Anonim

The case took place in the United States, where a grandson decided to clean up his grandparents' garage, one of whom has since died, only to discover that the space held a long-forgotten treasure — a Lamborghini Countach with practically three decades!

The discovery, which the man made known through the social network Reddit, originates, according to him, in the exotic car rental business that his grandfather had. Which is why he bought, in 1989, this Lamborghini Countach.

However, the rise in costs with the company and, more specifically, with insurance, ended up leading to the closing of the company, but not to the sale of all the cars. Since the patriarch chose to keep some copies, including the Lambo, in addition to a Ferrari 308 which you can also see, in part, in the photo gallery that we show you here:

What is unusual, however, is that, over the years and the consequent death of the grandfather, the cars ended up forgotten and abandoned in the family garage, where they spent more than two decades, without seeing the light of day. Until, recently, one of the grandchildren, while exploring the space, ended up discovering the “treasures”, covered by canvas.

As for the future of automobiles, the grandson recognizes that the cars are still in his grandmother's possession and there is no guarantee that they will be left to her as an inheritance. As a matter of fact, he adds, it may also happen that, even though they are not already in circulation conditions, the grandmother chooses to sell them.

Is there an offer?…

Lamborghini Countach 500 S, 1982-1985
The name refers to 5000, so it must be a late version of the LP500 S, introduced in 1982 and produced until 1985, equipped with a 4.8 V12, capable of 380 hp.
