Have you ever thought of combining the versatility of the Audi A6 Allroad with the power of an RS6 Avant? Probably not, but some have. A petrolhead in Germany claims to have created the world's only Audi RS6 Allroad and is now selling it.
What do you mean, an Audi RS6 Allroad? Well, it all started with the desire to create something that the four-ring brand was slow to launch: a “spicy” version of the most adventurous A6 van, the A6 Allroad.
Having chosen the objective, this German's project started with the purchase of an Audi A6 Allroad Quattro 2.5 TDI — with automatic transmission — from 2003, with 265,000 km on the odometer.
After that followed me the replacement of the engine, with the Diesel block giving way to the twin-turbo V8 of the Audi RS6 C5 generation, which produces 450 hp and 560 Nm.
But don't think that the changes end here. This petrolhead also decided to get rid of the automatic transmission and “assemble” a manual gearbox with six ratios, which joined the quattro all-wheel drive system.
In addition to this, it “stole” the steering joints, the rear axle, the brakes, the exhaust system and the engine control unit from the donor car. The air suspension was also “dropped” and replaced with a KW coilover assembly. The 20” wheels are from an RS5 and were mounted on 255/35 tires.
But the most peculiar modification happened in the interior, where we find a set of rugs made from a toy rug with a drawn city that many of us had as children.
Therefore, there is no lack of interest in this Audi RS6 Allroad, which is now looking for a new owner. The current owner is asking 17,999 euros for it. Someone interested?
