Presented two days ago, the Ferrari 812 Competizione (which also has an Aperta version) is one of the most radical road models ever in the history of the Maranello brand.
At a time when we learned that Ferrari is preparing to launch its first electric model in 2025, the 812 Competizione presents itself “in service” with the most powerful combustion engine ever from the cavallino rampante brand and that is “ music for our ears”.

Ferrari had guaranteed that, despite having been forced to install a particle filter, it had managed to preserve the typical sound of its V12s thanks to a new design for the exhaust system. And now that we've heard it, there's no doubt that Maranello's brand has succeeded in this task.
Capable of ramping up at 9500 rpm (never has a road Ferrari spun so fast), this 6.5-litre V12, which is the throbbing heart of the Ferrari 812 Competizione, produces an impressive 830 hp of power at 9250 rpm and 692 Nm of maximum torque at 9500 rpm.
Thanks to all this, the 812 Competizione sees the 100 km/h dispatched in just 2.85s, the 200 km/h in just 7.5s and the top speed surpassing the 340 km/h of the Superfast, without Ferrari having needed the value.
Speed is, therefore, something that is not lacking in this Cavallino Rampante, which in Fiorano was 1.5s faster than the 812 Superfast and was just a second behind the time of the SF90 Stradale, the 1000 hp “super hybrid” from Ferrari .
