As we announced some time ago, the Los Angeles Motor Show was the stage chosen by Toyota to introduce us to the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, the latest version of its SUV and, at the same time, the most powerful of all.

Despite using the same 2.5 l Hybrid Dynamic Force that we find in the other RAV4, in the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid this appears associated with a more powerful electric motor and a larger battery (although their values are still unknown) .

The final result is 306 hp (225 kW) of power that allow Toyota to announce that its SUV meets the traditional 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2s . With regard to autonomy in electric mode, Toyota points to a value greater than 60 km , however these numbers still need approval.

Aesthetically changed, but little

Aesthetically, compared to other RAV4s, the plug-in hybrid version has changed little. Even so, the round fog lights have given way to two vertical LED strips, the grille received a gloss black finish (glossy) and there are still differences in the lower part of the front bumper, highlighting the adoption of chrome finishes.
