Nissan Navara revamped gets tougher-looking PRO-4X version

Despite being six years old now — it was originally launched in 2014 — the third generation Nissan Navara will stay with us for a few more years, having just received a restyling.

Aesthetically, the Japanese pick-up brings news both at the front and at the rear. At the front, the main highlight is the revised grille and the new LED headlights. On the side, the wheel arches were designed and on the rear, in addition to the new tail lights, we have a new cargo box gate.

Also in the aesthetics chapter, the new PRO-4X version adds more body protections, specific logos and new colors, all to give Nissan Navara a bolder and sportier look.

What has changed inside the Nissan Navara?

Although the design of its dashboard remains unchanged, inside we find a new instrument panel with a 7” digital screen and a new infotainment system with an 8” screen. Speaking of this system, it is compatible with Apple CarPlay and its screen allows you to view images from the four exterior cameras that allow a 360º view around the Japanese pick-up.

Finally, even inside, Navara received new seats, more USB sockets and a new multifunction steering wheel.

Enhanced security, unchanged mechanics

In the field of safety systems and driving aids, the renewed Nissan Navara has several, such as autonomous emergency braking, rear traffic alert, cruise control and even an assistant to detect obstacles when driving at low speed with traction integral geared.

As for mechanics, Nissan has not released any information, and it is therefore expected that Navara will continue to use the same 2.3 l Diesel with 190 hp and 450 Nm that can be coupled to a manual or automatic six-speed gearbox.

For now we do not have any information about the coming of the renewed Nissan Navara to Portugal or its possible price.
