Revealed last year, the Mercedes-Benz EQC not only was it the first electric model of the Mercedes-Benz EQ sub-brand, but also established itself as an important milestone in the Ambition 2039 strategy. In this, the German manufacturer intends to achieve carbon neutrality in its car fleet in 2039, and wants more than 50% in 2030 sales of plug-in hybrids or electric vehicles.

As a result, the Mercedes-Benz EQC now incorporates a more powerful 11 kW on-board charger. This allows it to be charged faster not only through a Wallbox, but also at public charging stations with alternating current (AC).
