You see a tire rolling inside: "burnout edition"

Anonim

It was one of the weirdest and most fascinating movies we've seen this year, when, thanks to a camera mounted inside a rim, we could see a tire rolling from inside. Now comes the sequel, with intensified dramatic charge: what will it be like to see a burnout from the inside of the tyre?

That's what the channel Warped Perception wants to discover and for that, it has placed a camera again, this time, in one of the driving axle wheels (rear) of a (very bare) Mercedes-Benz E-Class.

All set to see a tire destroyed… Does the camera also survive abuse?

Have you seen the video? I don't want to spoil your visualization with spoilers. If you've seen the video, two things stand out.

First, seeing a burnout from the inside of the tire turned out to be an anticlimax. Nothing on the inside of the tire reveals the drama of what's happening on the outside — it's all surprisingly calm. From the outside, it looks like the “world is about to end”, with “smoke” enveloping the entire tire — it's not really smoke, as we've explained before.

Only the final destruction of the tire seen from the inside in one of the scenes gives some insight into the abuse I was going through.

Second, seeing a burnout from the outside in slow motion turns out to be much more fascinating than seeing it from the inside. It is an impressive visual spectacle to be able to see the rapid deterioration of the tyre, where we see a lot of “rubber” bouncing, until it definitely gives in to all the abuse it has suffered.

And although the camera that captured these images survived this act of destruction, another one doesn't seem to have been so lucky. At the end of the film it is possible to see the sad end of one of them, having been undone, along with the tire.
