There was no Geneva 2020, but there was a handful of news from Mansory

Anonim

As usual, the mansory he had everything ready to present his most recent creations at the Geneva Motor Show, a handful of novelties. As you know, the show has been cancelled, but… the show has to go on. And spectacle (or is it fuss?) is what Mansory's five new proposals seem to do best.

The five new proposals from Mansory are from five different car brands. Variety is not lacking: Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Mercedes-AMG and Rolls-Royce. Let's get to know them one by one…

Audi RS 6 Avant

For those who think the new Audi RS 6 Avant it's aggressive and threatening enough, for Mansory it's just the starting point. The altered body panels, like the mudguards, are now made of carbon fiber. Highlight for the angular exhaust outlets (parallelograms with a truncated corner) and for the 22″ forged wheels. The interior was not untouched, receiving new coatings and decoration.

It's not just show-off… Mansory has injected steroids into the already muscled RS 6 Avant. The numbers of the twin turbo V8 have grown from 600 hp and 800 Nm to some even more powerful 720 hp and 1000 Nm. According to the preparer, the increasing numbers result in decreasing values for the performance: the 100 km/h is now reached in 3.2s instead of 3.6s.

Bentley Continental GT Convertible V8

Look at that leather interior… green, or rather “chrome oxite green”, as Mansory calls it. Subtle isn't it, and even more in a convertible like the vast Bentley Continental GT Convertible . The matte black bodywork with the same green accents hardly goes unnoticed — even as standard, it's hard for a car like this to go unnoticed. Carbon fiber is once again present, being visible in the aerodynamic elements added to the GTC.

The mechanics and dynamics were not forgotten either. The twin turbo V8 that the team has seen its power grow by almost a hundred horsepower, from 549 to 640 hp, with torque also rising generously, from 770 Nm to 890 Nm. The wheels are… huge. Forged 22-inch wheels with 275/35 front and 315/30 rear tires.

Lamborghini Urus

Mansory doesn't call you Urus , but rather Venatus. And if an Urus already stands out in the crowd what about Venatus? The body is in matte blue with neon green accents; the forged and ultra-light wheels (says Mansory), are huge, with a diameter of 24″ and tires 295/30 at the front and massive 355/25 at the rear. Highlight also for the atypical triple exhaust outlet in the middle…

If the exterior is perhaps too “blue”, what about the “very blue” leather interior? A challenge for any retina…

As it could not be otherwise, this Venatus also stands out for its extra vitamin compared to the Urus on which it is based. The twin turbo V8 starts to debit 810 hp and 1000 Nm instead of the 650 hp and 850 Nm of the standard model. If the Urus is already one of the fastest SUVs on the planet, the Venatus is even more so: 3.3s from 0 to 100 km/h and… 320 km/h of top speed (!).

Mercedes-AMG G 63

Named Star Trooper, this G 63 is the second Mansory G to bear this name. What's new in relation to the G 63 Star Trooper introduced in 2019 is the fact that Mansory has turned it into an exclusive pick-up. And like the first one, this project is the result of a collaboration with fashion designer Phillip Plein.

Mansory Mercedes-AMG G 63

This new Star Trooper repeats the themes of the previous one, with an emphasis on the camouflage paintwork — the interior also uses the same theme —, the 24″ wheels, and the cabin roof… illuminated with red dots of light.

The G 63 if there's one thing you don't need is more “power”, but Mansory has completely ignored that advice: they are 850 hp (!) that the “hot V” delivers, 265 hp more than the original model. Max torque? 1000Nm (850Nm the original G 63). This G is capable of blasting 100 km/h in just 3.5s and moving at a scary 250 km/h… limited.

Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Finally, to close the five new Mansory proposals that should have been in Geneva, his interpretation of the Cullinan , the Rolls-Royce SUV. A massive vehicle, impossible to go unnoticed, but Mansory raised its “presence” to an eccentric level and called it the Coastline.

Mansory Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Eccentric? Without a doubt… Maybe it's the massive wheels and the general lowering, maybe it's the forged carbon parts (which have a very peculiar texture), maybe it's the larger air inlets/outlets, or maybe it's just the two-tone bodywork.

And if the interior of Urus/Venatus defied the resistance of our retinas what about the interior of this turquoise Coastline? Not even the baby chair escaped (see gallery below), or even the “Spirit of Ecstasy” ornament…

Mansory Rolls-Royce Cullinan

As we saw with the remaining proposals, the Cullinan mechanics were not unaffected either, although here the gains were somewhat modest, in stark contrast to the vehicle's exterior/interior. The 6.75 V12 starts to deliver 610 hp and 950 Nm , instead of 571 hp and 850 Nm — the top speed is now 280 km/h (250 km/h original).
