If there is a brand that should regret the cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show, that brand is Koenigsegg. In addition to the impressive Gemera, its first four-seater model, the Swedish brand was also going to reveal the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut.
I mean, he was going to reveal it in Geneva and he did it, taking advantage of his space in the Swiss salon to record the presentation of the model that, according to Christian Von Koenigsegg, will be the fastest model ever produced by Koenigsegg… in the past, present and… future — on the way to 500 km/h?
Equipped with the same mechanics as the "normal" Jesko, a 5.0 V8 twin turbo with 1600 hp and 1500 Nm that comes together with the nine-speed gearbox and… seven clutches(!) from Koenigsegg, the Jesko Absolut uses aerodynamics to sustain its (great) ambitions.
Aerodynamics, Jesko Absolut's great ally
As we told you, aerodynamics is the great ally of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut. Redesigned to get as close as possible to the “water drop” shape (recognized as the most efficient in aerodynamic terms), the Jesko Absolut grew 85 mm compared to the Jesko.

The end result of all these efforts was an aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cx) of just 0.278 and a frontal surface of 1.88 m2.
Also in the aerodynamic field, the Jesko Absolut received new rear wheels and saw the rear wing disappear, which is why the downforce dropped from 1400 kg to just 150 kg. To ensure stability at high speed, two “fins” are replaced in place of the rear wing.
For now, the maximum speed value of the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut is still unknown, having not even been tested, with the Swedish brand saying that it is waiting to meet the ideal conditions (as happened with the Agera RS) to put it to the test .
