After last year unveiling the coupe version of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ (it even became the fastest production model on the Nürburgring), Lamborghini took the hood off the more radical version of its supercar and showed it at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster.

Limited to 800 units, the Aventador SVJ Roadster uses the same engine V12 6.5 l atmospheric of the version with hood, therefore counting with 770 hp of power and 720 Nm of torque , values that allow it to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9s (the coupé takes 2.8s) and reach a top speed in excess of 350 km/h.

As usual with convertible versions, the weight has increased compared to the version with a soft top. However, it wasn't as much as you might think, with the Aventador SVJ Roadster weighing 1575 kg (dry weight), just 50 kg more than the coupé version.

Common to the coupé is the adoption of a rear wing with three supports, which also allows for air vectorization. The engine cover made of carbon fiber, the new front apron, the side skirts and the specific wheels were also “inherited” from the hood version.
