Developed based on the MEB platform (it is the first Skoda to use this platform), the Skoda Vision iV Concept shared the spotlight at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show with Kamiq and Scala, making known how Skoda's electric future could be.

Although it still has a lot of prototype details (like the huge 22” wheels), we weren't surprised if the Vision iV very closely anticipated the future production model, as we've already seen in the relationship between the Vision X and Kamiq prototypes, and between Vision RS and Scala.

Inside the Vision iV Concept, despite the futuristic look typical of a concept car, it is possible to detect the “guidelines” that the Czech brand has applied in the design of its cabins, highlighting the high positioning of the already anticipated infotainment screen by Vision RS and meanwhile applied to Scala and Kamiq.

Electrification is the bet for the future

Bringing life to the Skoda Vision iV Concept are two electric motors, one mounted on the front axle and the other on the rear, which allow the Czech prototype to have all-wheel drive. Skoda did not reveal data regarding the power of the two engines but confirmed that the lithium-ion battery pack used by the Vision iV Concept offers about 500 km of autonomy.
