Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake. The most anticipated version?

After unveiling the CLA Coupé at CES, Mercedes-Benz followed a more traditional approach and made known the CLA Shooting Brake at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. As with the first generation, the aim of the CLA Shooting Brake is simple: to bring together luggage space and sporty lines in the same model.

Regarding the “coupé”, the differences only emerge (as usual) from the B-pillar, with the Mercedes-Benz van abandoning the “four-door coupé” shapes in favor of a more “family-friendly” look. ”.

Compared to the previous generation, the new CLA Shooting Brake has grown in length and width, but is slightly shorter. The length was increased to 4.68 m (+48 mm), the width reached 1.83 m (+53 mm) and the height dropped to 1.44 m (-2 mm). As a result, the share of living space also increased, with the trunk offering 505 l of capacity.

Strong bet on technology

Inside CLA Shooting Brake there are two things that stand out. The first is the fact that it is the same (as you would expect) to the “coupé” and the Mercedes-Benz A-Class version. The second is that with this “copy” CLA Shooting Brake now has the system of MBUX infotainment and with the respective screens arranged horizontally.
