Originally released in 2013 and revised in 2017, the Jaguar F-Type has now been the subject of yet another renovation (the deepest of all to date).
Aesthetically, the main differences appear at the front, with the F-Type receiving new horizontal development headlamps (slender), a redesigned bumper, a larger grille and even a new bonnet that makes it look longer (although of having kept the dimensions).
At the rear, the headlights were slightly redesigned, as well as the diffuser and the place where the license plate is placed.
As for the interior, the focus was on reinforcing the quality of materials and the technological offer, with the F-Type receiving a 12.3” digital instrument panel. The infotainment system was “delivered” to a 10” screen.
Engines of the renewed F-Type
As far as engines are concerned, with this renovation the F-Type said goodbye in Europe to the V6 engine. Thus, the range of engines was made up of a four-cylinder with 2.0 l of capacity and a V8 with 5.0 l of capacity and two levels of power.

But let's get to the numbers. Only available with rear wheel drive, the 2.0 l delivers 300 hp and 400 Nm. The less powerful and unprecedented variant of the V8 presents itself with 450 hp and 580 Nm that can be sent only to the rear wheels or all four.
Finally, the more powerful version of the V8 started to charge 575 hp and 700 Nm (compared to the previous 550 hp and 680 Nm) and is only available with all-wheel drive. Common to the three engines is the fact that they all appear coupled to the sequential eight-speed Quickshift gearbox.
Jaguar F-Type, 2020.
In terms of performance, with the 2.0 l of 300 hp the F-Type meets 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7s and reaches 250 km/h. With the 450 hp V8 variant, the 100 km/h comes in 4.6s and the top speed is 285 km/h. Finally, the 575 hp variant makes it possible to reach 300 km/h and reach 100 km/h in 3.7s.
When does it arrive and how much will it cost?
Now available for order from Jaguar dealers, the first units of the renewed F-Type are expected to be delivered in March of next year.
To mark the model's launch, Jaguar has also created the exclusive F-Type First Edition version that will only be available during the model's first year of launch. Based on the R-Dynamic versions, this one includes extras like 20” wheels with five G-spokes or Santorini Black, Eiger Gray or Fuji White.
