PSA Aftermarket bought the Portuguese company Amanhã Global. Why?

Anonim

With the aim of accelerating the investment in the circular economy of multi-brand reusable parts, PSA Aftermarket moved towards the purchase of the Portuguese company Amanhã Global and its e-commerce platform B-Parts.com, the European leader in used car parts.

The acquisition of this company aims to complete PSA Aftermarket's strategy of conquering the circular economy. The goal is to triple the volume of business by 2023, create new opportunities and increase efficiency.

With the acquisition of B-Parts, PSA Aftermarket also wants to help the strategy of changing its business model, trying to meet the expectations of all after-sales customers worldwide, regardless of brand, purchasing power or the age of your vehicle.

The environment also wins.

With parts reuse being one of the three pillars of the circular economy along with repair and reconstruction, PSA Aftermarket is counting on this acquisition to reduce the environmental footprint of PSA Aftermarket and Groupe PSA, as reusable parts result in a 100% gain in raw material compared to the manufacture of new parts.

This investment allows us to enter the heart of the reusable parts value chain, which constitute one of the three pillars of the circular economy offer.
