Car on Demand Service that allows you to subscribe a car arrived in Portugal

Anonim

It is already from this month of March that the Free2Move , the mobility brand of Stellantis, will offer its service “ Car On Demand ” (car on demand) in Portugal, having originally launched the service in France. A successful experience that has already resulted in the signing of more than 30 thousand contracts.

It is a monthly subscription service, but also flexible and tailor-made, available to both private and professional customers.

This allows you to enjoy a vehicle over several months, and a commitment may or may not be made in terms of duration.

The “Car On Demand” service starts with the DS 3 Crossback as one of the models of choice.

How it works?

Free2Move's “Car On Demand” offers two subscription formulas:
  • a monthly subscription without loyalty or restrictions, including insurance, from €350/month;
  • a contract with an average duration of 6 or 12 months, starting at €299/month.

As a customer, we can choose one of the two subscription formulas and the vehicle of our choice on the Free2Move online platform. The vehicles themselves are part of the latest offering from the various Stellantis Group brands and 100% electric, hybrid or thermal options are available. Insurance, maintenance and assistance (24 hours a day, seven days a week) are included in the service subscription.

Free2Move says that from there we can change vehicles whenever we want, change the monthly mileage or even take a break between two vehicles. The subscription service can also be interrupted at any time, without penalty.

“Car On Demand is a product in line with its time, given its flexible character. It is particularly adapted to the Portuguese market, for which the vehicle continues to have a high value. It is important for our customers to know that we are able to adapt quickly to their needs. We are happy to be able to offer this subscription without loyalty to our Portuguese customers.”

Alternative

The “Car On Demand” service is particularly adapted to the Portuguese market, says Free2Move, due to our preference for individual use of the vehicle: 86% of Portuguese prefer to own their own vehicle.

However, given the current difficult context, the acquisition of a new car may prove to be impractical, which is why the company considers its “Car On Demand” service an alternative to purchasing or ALD (Long Term Rental).

For others, this service may also be used to test, for a certain period of time, an electric vehicle, before deciding on it, if they are considering embracing electric vehicles for good.
