The name of the model is not deceiving, it is even a high-performance SEAT Ateca, but it will only be sold with the new “tribalist” symbol of CUPRA.

The CUPRA Ateca
As a reminder, the arsenal of the new CUPRA Ateca includes a 2.0 EcoTSI block with 300 hp of power available between 5300 rpm and 6500 rpm and with 400 Nm of torque available between 2000 rpm and 5200 rpm. The block is coupled to a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, which transmits to all four wheels (4DRIVE).Despite the 1615 kg (EU standard) in weight, the CUPRA Ateca is capable of high performances, as shown by the 5.2s in the 0 to 100 km/h, the 25.1s in the 0 to 1000 m, or the 247 km/h of maximum speed. The official average emissions are 168 g/km, which corresponds to a consumption of 7.4 l/100 km.
At chassis level, we can find independent suspension at the front and rear — McPherson and multilink axle, respectively — with hydraulic shock absorbers, allowing for Adaptive Suspension Control. Braking is carried out by ventilated discs at the front (340 mm x 22 mm) and solid at the rear (310 mm x 22 mm).
The contact with the asphalt — we have many doubts that the owners of this SUV will step on more than tar — is guaranteed by generous 245/40 R19 94W tires.

In Portugal, CUPRA Ateca will be available from 52 494 euros . A value that can go up when we browse the list of options. Let's leave some examples: baquet-style banks in Alcantara, 1506 euros; BeatsAudio sound system, €439.59; panoramic roof, 981.56 euros; or metallic paint, 522 euros.
