Since the launch of the first generation, in 1975, around 14 million units of the Volkswagen Polo . Currently in its sixth generation, the German utility vehicle produced based on the MQB A0 platform saw the range of engines in Portugal be renewed and now has a 1.0 l of 80 hp and 93 Nm in place of the previous 75 hp engine.
Combined with a five-speed manual gearbox, this engine allows the Polo to reach a top speed of 171 km/h and reach 100 km/h in 15.4s. In terms of consumption and emissions, Volkswagen announces an average consumption of 5.5 l/100 km and emissions of around 131 g/km of CO2 (WLTP).
As standard, the Volkswagen Polo has, in all versions, the Front Assist system, which includes an emergency braking function in the city, a pedestrian detection system and even the multi-collision braking system.
One engine, two levels of equipment
When equipped with an 80 hp 1.0 l engine, the Volkswagen Polo can be associated with two levels of equipment: Trendline and Comfortline. on the level trendline we find, among others, equipment such as the speed limiter, leather steering wheel, manual air conditioning, “Hill Hold Control” system and even the Composition Color radio (which has a 6.5″ touchscreen).

already at the level comfortline adds to the equipment offered by Trendline the fog lights, 15″ alloy wheels, the fatigue detection system and the Composition Media radio that has an 8″ touchscreen, iPod/iPhone connection, Bluetooth and the App system Connect with Mirror Link.
Common to both levels of equipment is the extended warranty to five years or 100,000 kilometers. The prices of the Polo 1.0 l of 80 hp start at 16 659 euros ordered for the Trendline version and go up to 17 786 euros that the Comfortline version costs.
