Audi renewed the RS4 Avant and made it (even) more aggressive

Recently returned to the national market, the Audi RS4 Avant has now been restyled, thus following in the footsteps of what had already happened with the rest of the A4 range, which a few months ago saw its design updated.

The changes focused only on the aesthetic chapter and on a technological reinforcement in the interior, leaving the mechanics unchanged. This means that giving life to the RS4 Avant is still the 2.9 V6 TFSI biturbo with 450 hp and 600 Nm associated with the eight-speed tiptronic gearbox and the traditional quattro system.

These numbers allow the smallest of Audi's radical vans (don't forget that above it is the all-powerful Audi RS6) to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1s and reach 250 km/h (which with the Package Dynamic RS change to 280 km/h).

What has changed?

Aesthetically, the Audi RS4 Avant received a new grille, a new front bumper and a new splitter, all in an attempt to bring the look of the RS4 Avant closer to that of the “big sister”.

In addition to this, the LED front lights were also redesigned. The wheel arches are, as you would expect, wider than those of the “normal” A4 (measure 30 mm more), all to accommodate the larger tires that the RS4 Avant uses.

Inside, the changes focused on improving the technological offer.

Finally, inside, the only changes are a new 10.1” infotainment screen with the MMI system (which has abandoned the rotary control in favor of voice commands) and a digital instrument panel (the Audi virtual cockpit) that comes up with specific graphs that indicate data such as G-forces, tire pressure and even lap times.

Scheduled for arrival on the market in December this year, according to Audi, the renewed RS4 Avant should cost from 81,400 euros. It is unknown whether this will be the base price in Portugal, especially considering that it is currently available in Portugal from 110 330 euros).
