After the presentation of the Jaguar XF Sportbrake – you can get to know it better here – the British brand is once again focusing attention on SUVs, with the new E-Pace. The aim is to “combine the design and agility of a sports car with the everyday functionality of an SUV”.

The new model will integrate Jaguar's growing SUV family, comprising the F-Pace, which won the World Car of the Year 2017, and the I-Pace, Jaguar's first electric model, which hits the market in the second half of 2018. Up front, the Jaguar E-Pace will have competition from the BMW X1 and even from another proposal from the Jaguar Land Rover group, the Range Rover Evoque.

According to the brand, the Jaguar E-PACE "incorporates the four-wheel drive technology of sports cars and offers several options for Ingenium gasoline and diesel engines, as well as a set of online technologies and safety systems". About the design, the image below is revealing of the look that the E-Pace will adopt, compared to the other SUVs of the brand.

Jaguar I-Pace, Jaguar F-Pace, Jaguar E-Pace - comparison

The E-PACE has the look of a sports car and the performance of a Jaguar, which is why it won't go unnoticed. All Jaguar models are designed to stimulate the senses and that's what we believe will happen with the E-PACE, as well as showing off its unique character.

Ian Callum, Director of Jaguar Design Department

For the rest, it is also known that E-Pace will have a (indicative) price of €44,261. The remaining news will be revealed on July 13th, during the official presentation.
