The Volkswagen Polo R WRC, limited to 2500 units, is the pocket-rocket designed by VW for the purpose of homologating the rally car and also the most beloved by fans of the brand. Why? Because in addition to integrating a front-wheel drive system, it delivers more than 200hp of power generated by a 2.0 TFSI engine inherited from the Golf GTI, which makes it reach 100km/h in just 6.4 seconds, right before reaching 243km/h – for a Polo, not bad…

Preparer Wimmer was not in the least surprised – at least, it seems… – and decided to “double” the formula used by the Wolfsburg brand.
