The Citroën E-Mehari by Courrèges, presented in Geneva, is a stylistic interpretation of the production model.

The new production E-Mehari is a snap to the original Méhari, an iconic Citroën model launched in 1968, thus seeking to maintain a strong connection to the brand's history. In Geneva there was a stylistic interpretation of the French haute couture brand Courrèges.

In this version, to contrast with its expressive design, the electric model was painted white with orange accents, making it a “fun, modern and environmentally friendly” vehicle. Although it maintains the cabriolet architecture, the “free electron” – as it was dubbed by the brand – gained a removable acrylic roof, redesigned steering wheel and leather trim on the interior.

In addition to the avant-garde style, in terms of engines, the E-Mehari also has its eyes set on the future. The Citroën E-Mehari adopts a 100% electric motor of 67 hp, powered by LMP (metallic polymer) batteries of 30 kWh, which allow an autonomy of 200 km in urban cycle.

According to the French brand, the Citroën E-Mehari reaches a speed in excess of 110 km/h. The start of production of the French model is scheduled for this autumn, while prices for the market have not yet been announced.
