Jaguar F-Pace. Arrival of the SVR means improvements for the entire range

THE Jaguar F-Pace was the British brand's first SUV, launched in 2016, and its success is undeniable — it is currently the British manufacturer's best-selling model. Recently added to the range the variant SVR , the sportiest of the F-Paces, equipped with a powerful 550 hp V8 Supercharged. Occasion to also carry out a series of updates on the rest of the range.

These focus on the security systems available, both standard and optional; improving the interior, with new standard and optional equipment; and the addition of a particle filter also in gasoline engines to meet all upcoming standards.

Safety

In the safety chapter, we can find Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assistance that works up to 180 km/h; Cruise Control with Stop&Go and High Speed ​​Emergency Braking that operates between 10 and 160 km/h, capable of detecting a possible collision, activating the brakes, in case of lack of driver action.

Optionally, there are several security packages with additional equipment, such as Park Assist, Drive Pack and Driver Assist Pack that combine the two previous ones, including, among others, the 360º camera and Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assistance .

Inside, there is the introduction of the infotainment system Touch Pro 10″ touchscreen standard on all Jaguar F-Paces; as well as new sports seats with electric adjustments in 14 movements appear as an option.

A series of aesthetic and material details were also revised: the interior mirror no longer has a frame; the sill guards are now metallic and illuminated with the Jaguar anagram; the pedals are also metallized; the rugs are new and, according to Jaguar, of superior quality; the roof is now finished in Suedecloth; the finishing of the doors is now in carbon fiber; and finally, the controls for the 10-movement banks are now in chrome.

Engines

All engines in the F-Pace range now have a particulate filter — yes, gasoline too —, with Jaguar noting that the filter is regenerated whenever the driver takes his foot off the accelerator.

Some of the petrol variants now benefit from a larger fuel tank of 82 l instead of 63.

In Portugal

The Jaguar F-Pace — 2019 range — is now available to order in Portugal with prices starting at 60 509.05 euros.
