Portuguese coach José Mourinho was invited to test the Jaguar F-Pace first hand in the frozen lakes of Sweden. Do we have a new gentleman driver?
After being tested in the torrid heat of Dubai, it was under freezing -30ºC that José Mourinho, together with Finnish professional driver Tommi Karrinaho, drove the prototype of the first SUV of the cat brand: the Jaguar F-Pace. An unconditional fan of luxury cars, the former Chelsea coach already has an enviable collection of cars in his garage: Jaguar F-Type Coupé, Range Rover, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and an Aston Martin Rapide.NOT TO BE MISSED: First Jaguar F-Type SVR teaser
This test took place at Jaguar Land Rover's research center in Arjeplog, northern Sweden, where temperatures range from -15°C to -40°C. At this center it is possible to drive on more than 60 km of tracks specially designed for car testing, with mountain climbs, extreme slopes, low-grip straights and off-road areas. It was in this environment that Jaguar decided to optimize the calibration of F-Pace's new traction system, Dynamic Stability Control and new Jaguar technologies such as the All-Surface Progress System.
After trying out the new Jaguar F-Face, José Mourinho says:
“The car responds very well in any situation. Good responsiveness, very stable and a lot of fun!”
