Launched in 2017, the Hyundai Kauai not only is it a very successful small SUV, it is also one of the South Korean brand's most multifaceted models.
Not only do we have Kauai with gasoline and diesel engines, it was the first SUV/crossover in the segment to have a 100% electric variant and, more recently, it also received a hybrid version — there is no shortage of options.
But being positioned in what is one of the most competitive car segments at the moment, Hyundai is preparing the update of the model whose final revelation is just a few weeks away.

And, as you can see, there are substantial changes to the front of the Kauai, which, according to the brand, intends to give it a simultaneously more urban and sporty look, expressing the “Sensuous Sportiness” design typology.
You can see in the teasers that they keep the optics split, with the daytime running lights at the top separate from the dipped ones. However, it is the integration of the dipped beam into the bumpers that stands out the most, looking more elegant, as they are no longer integrated into the gray plastic niches that extended from the wheel arch protections.
The other big anticipated news is the Hyundai Kauai N Line (top image), a new sportier looking variant, as we've seen in other models of the brand.
The Hyundai Kauai is already one of the most interesting small SUVs to drive, but hopefully the N Line is also accompanied by a specific dynamic setting that has brought such good results, for example, in the i30 N Line.
