Pagani Huayra is inspired... by FIAT

Anonim

An Italian preparer, Garage Italia Customs, decided, with the support of the Italian super sports brand Pagani, to take a Huayra and, in a way, “transform” it into a 1954 Fiat; more precisely, in a Fiat Turbina prototype. Thus giving rise to a unique and inimitable edition, called Huayra Lampo!

Preparer who, by the way, is owned by one of the grandchildren of the “commendatore” Giovanni Agnelli, Lapo Elkann. Thus, Garage Italia Customs applied, in what is one of the most exclusive supersports of today, a decoration similar to that of the first Fiat prototype, which looked more like an airplane with wheels — right from the start, by boasting three turbines with a centrally positioned engine . All this for a package that had an aerodynamic coefficient of no more than Cx 0.14.

The Pagani Huayra that serves as the basis for this unique model is a special version, whose bodywork uses carbon fiber, with aluminum applications, capable of bringing out the color. Some of the bodywork areas are also painted with transparent paint, while Italian flags on the rear wheel arches try to link this avant-garde Huayra to the Turbina of other times.

In addition to these changes, the Huayra Lampo, or lightning bolt, in Portuguese, also has the Tempesta pack, synonymous with a series of added aerodynamic solutions, starting with the new air intakes at the front, designed to channel more air to the radiators. To make this car even more special, those responsible for Garage Italia Customs also decided to recover the old Fiat logo and apply it to the wheels, as well as to the aluminum elements.

For the rest, the Brembo clamps themselves also received the colors of the Italian flag, as did the mirror covers.

Interior full of fine materials

Equally special and different is the interior of this Huayra, filled with countless noble materials, from the brown leather to the surfaces in anodised aluminum and painted in bronze.

According to Garage Italia Customs, this Pagani Huayra Lampo took about two years to be ready, and it was also, among the projects in which Pagani was involved, the one that took the most time.
