For many years, talking about electrification at Lexus was to mention its extensive range of hybrids. However, from now on electrification on Lexus is also synonymous with 100% electric models, all courtesy of the UX 300e.
Unveiled at the Guangzhou Motor Show, in China, the UX 300e is practically the same as the other UX, the only difference being the adoption of more aerodynamic wheels.
Inside, in addition to increased sound insulation and the adoption of the Active Sound Control (ASC) system which, according to Lexus, transmits a natural ambient sound to allow for greater understanding of driving conditions, the only difference comes from the dashboard of instruments.

The interior remained virtually unchanged compared to other UX.
Animating the UX 300e is an electric motor placed at the front and delivering 150 kW (about 204 hp) and 300 Nm. For now, Lexus has yet to reveal any data regarding the performance of its first electric.
As far as the battery is concerned, it has a capacity of 54.3 kWh and offers 400 km of autonomy , but still with the NEDC cycle. Charging time remains an unknown, however Lexus says that with alternating current the maximum charging power is 6.6 kW and with direct current it is 50 kW.
As you would expect, the Lexus UX 300e comes equipped with several driving modes and even has paddles on the steering wheel that allow you to manage the four levels of regenerative braking.
When will it arrive?
With its arrival in the European markets already next year, the prices of the first Lexus tram are not known, nor is it known when it will reach the Portuguese market.
