Still on the Sant’Agata Bolognese brand, Winkelmann stated that it is necessary to update the V12, mainly because this is one of the pillars of the brand's history. As for Bugatti, the CEO of the Gallic brand not only chose to "dodge" the rumors surrounding the brand, but also stated that the emergence of an all-electric model from the Molsheim brand is one of the possibilities on the table.
And the future of the combustion engine?

About this, the German executive says that, if possible, the two brands he manages should "keep the internal combustion engine as long as possible".

Despite the increasing pressure on emissions, the CEO of Bugatti and Lamborghini recalls that the models of the two brands are quite exclusive, even giving the example of the Chiron, which is almost more a collectible object than a car, with most of the customers traveling just over 1000 km a year with their specimens.
Now, taking this into account, Winkelmann says that Bugatti and Lamborghini “do not have a big impact on emissions around the world”. Electric? not for now
