Tesla Model 3 with AutoPilot enabled. Is it possible to get out of the car?

Anonim

Perhaps motivated by the #InMyFeelings Challenge, in which one got out of the car while driving and danced, YouTuber Chikichu tried to find out if it was possible to get out of a car. Tesla Model 3 while it is in progress with AutoPilot turned on.

Circling at 6 mph (about 10 km/h), the YouTuber starts by undoing the seat belt, a situation to which the AutoPilot responds by immobilizing the Model 3.

On the next two attempts, Chikichu keeps her seat belt behind her back and tries to open the door, but things don't go any better for that.

On the first attempt, he resorts to the automatic system, which does not even respond as the car is in motion. In the second, he tries the manual system, through which he manages to open the door, but then the AutoPilot immobilizes, once again, the Model 3.

So it's impossible to get out of the Tesla Model 3 in progress?

By now you're probably thinking that it's impossible to get out of the Tesla Model 3 while it's running with the AutoPilot system turned on.

However, the YouTuber's persistence pays off on the fourth attempt. After discovering that he could not open the doors while the Model 3 was running, nor undo the seat belt, without this resulting in immobilization of the vehicle, Chikichu decided to leave his Model 3 through the window, thus reaching his (strange) objective.

So that you can see his various attempts we leave you here the video with an associated request: don't try to do this at home.
