Koenigsegg and Polestar together in a partnership leaves expectations in the air, but the truth is that neither of the two came forward with any kind of information about the intricacies of the same.
We only know that the two Swedish car manufacturers are going to start some kind of partnership by publishing, in their respective Instagram accounts, a message alluding to this, accompanied by an image illustrating it, where we can see both Koenigsegg Gemera — the first four places of the brand — such as the Polestar Precept — the last concept presented — together.
Koenigsegg in its publication just announced: “Something exciting soon. Stay tuned":

Polestar was not far behind in the content of the message, or rather, in its lack of it, in its publication: “Something interesting is happening on the west coast of Sweden. Stay connected.”

Even the geographical mention of the “west coast of Sweden” gives no clue as to why Koenigsegg and Polestar are together — both brands' headquarters are located on the west coast of Sweden.

Bearing in mind Polestar's focus on electrical technology and also Koenigsegg's latest efforts in this direction — the Regera is a hybrid, as is the Gemera, which is a plug-in hybrid — let's assume that this approximation of the two companies will have something to do with that theme.
Until they decide to announce something more on an official level, we can only imagine what these two brands will be conceiving together.
