After having dedicated itself to transforming the CUPRA Ateca, ABT Sportsline turned attention to the brand's first exclusive model: the CUPRA Formentor.

Of all the changes carried out by the German preparer, the one that stands out the most is, without a doubt, the increase in power of the Spanish SUV.

If the Formentor sees its 2.0 TSI as a standard output of 310 hp and 400 Nm — already expressive values —, after ABT Sportsline equipped it with a new ECU, it saw its power rise to a “fatter” 370 hp and torque to a stronger 450 Nm.

Thanks to this, the CUPRA Formentor is now able to complete 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6s (instead of 4.9s), a figure practically in line with the… Porsche 718 Boxster GTS, which complies the same metric in 4.5s!

What else changes?

Aesthetically, ABT Sportsline has changed little or nothing. Still, courtesy of a new set of springs, the Formentor was left 35 mm lower, ensuring a more assertive stance on the asphalt.

Supporting this new look are the 19” and 20” wheels from ABT Sportsline. For March, the arrival of a quadruple exhaust outlet with matte black finishes is expected.
