After the presentation in Barcelona, the Kia ProCeed presents himself to the public at the Paris Salon.
This model appears with the assumed purpose of increasing the appeal and perception of consumers for Kia products. With the drop in demand for three-door models, Kia decided to opt for the new ProCeed for a bodywork of the shooting brake style, similar in format to the Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake.

two versions
The Kia ProCeed will be released in just two versions — at least for now, with others dependent on its commercial career — being the ProCeed GT Line and ProCeed GT. The GT Line declines on three engines, 1.0 T-GDI with 120 hp and 172 Nm, 1.4 T-GDI with 140 hp and 242 Nm, and the new 1.6 CRDI Smartstream, with 136 hp and 280 Nm (320 Nm when equipped with the 7DCT transmission).
The GT, on the other hand, boils down to just one engine, precisely the same one presented for the new Kia Ceed GT, also presented at the Paris Motor Show. It is an in-line four-cylinder with 1.6 l and 204 hp and 265 Nm.
It is available in 10 body colors, and comes equipped with 17-inch wheels on the GT Line version (they can be 18-inch as an option), while the GT is only equipped with 18-inch wheels.
In Portugal
Production of the Kia ProCeed “shooting brake” begins in November, with sales starting exclusively in Europe in the first quarter of 2019. As is customary at Kia, this model will benefit from the familiar 7-year or 150,000 km warranty.
Prices for the 1.0 T-GDI GT Line version should start between 27 and 28 thousand euros.
