The Paris Motor Show marks the official start of “The Road to the World Car Awards”, a journey that will culminate at the next Motor Show in New York, USA, on April 17, 2019, with the revelation of the World Car of the Year (World Car of the Year).
Razão Automóvel is part of the World Car Awards jury panel for the second year in a row, having in recent years assumed itself as one of the most widely read media in the field and with the greatest reach on social networks nationwide.
The start of this journey also coincides with the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the World Car Awards, with the organization paying due tribute to Audi as the manufacturer that has won the most titles — the first World Car of the Year was the Audi A6 in 2005, and already this year, the Audi A8 took the World Luxury Car award.

The Road to the World Car Awards
"The Road to the World Car Awards" is held in association with the New York International Show, and will follow more than 80 judges whose mission is to test dozens of vehicles that are candidates for the most desired title — the Car World Cup of the Year.
Starting at the Paris Salon, the journey will make a few stops until its final destination in New York. First, at the Salon in Los Angeles, USA, in November, at an event called “LA. Test Drives”; and in March of next year, at the Geneva Motor Show, Switzerland, at the World Car Finals, where the three finalists for the title of World Car of the Year will be announced, as well as the award for the most outstanding individuality in the industry ( World Car Person of the Year).
"The Road to the World Car Awards", despite having as its destination New York, does not effectively end there — a few weeks later, in May, London will host for the fourth time the World Car Garage that allows not only to celebrate the 2019 winners , as well as getting a first glimpse of the 2020 candidates.
