Although the changes are subtle, Renault plans to offer a new lease of life to its SUV in the always lively dispute in the segment, where the Kadjar faces competition from Qashqai and company.
On the outside, the biggest changes were mainly at the level of the headlights, with the renewed Kadjar presenting the typical Renault luminous signature (shaped like a C) but now using LED.
But the main news that Renault has saved for the renewal of its SUV is right under the hood. Kadjar now has a new gasoline engine, 1.3 TCe which has a particle filter and is already used in Scénic, Captur and Mégane.
News also in the interior
Although Renault did not move much in the cabin of Kadjar, the French brand took the opportunity to redesign the center console and provide the SUV with a new multimedia screen and new controls for the air conditioning. The French brand also stated that the renewed Kadjar saw the overall quality of the interior rise with the use of new materials.
