There is a time of year when cloudy windows are a headache for thousands of drivers. Turn on the air conditioning? Open windows? Sometimes even this doesn't seem to work. But as they say, prevention is better than defogging. Or is it remedy? Forward…

Foggy windows are the result of moisture accumulated inside the passenger compartment, so if we manage to absorb it, the problem is solved.

But if you still haven't managed to solve the problem of cloudy glass, don't despair. Mark Rober, a former NASA engineer, turned to science to put an end to fogging glass. With these four steps it is possible to defog the car's windows twice as fast:

  • Turn on ventilation/sofa (maximum)
  • turn on the air conditioning
  • Turn off air circulation inside the passenger compartment
  • Slightly open vehicle windows
