Two years after it was introduced, the CUPRA Atheque accompanied the SEAT Ateca and also renewed itself, keeping the similarities with its cousin from SEAT.
On the outside, in addition to the new front and rear headlights (debuted at the SEAT Ateca), the Ateca features a grille inspired by the CUPRA Formentor, exclusive 19” wheels and a more aggressive front bumper with larger air intakes .
As for the interior, along with new materials and coatings, the CUPRA Ateca presents itself with a new steering wheel, a new infotainment system with a 9.2” screen and a digital instrument panel with 10.25”.
Equal engine, improved dynamics
In mechanical terms, the CUPRA Ateca remained unchanged. This means that under the bonnet there is still the 2.0 TSI with 300 hp and 400 Nm.

Power continues to be sent to all four wheels via the 4Drive system and a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
However, improvements to the all-wheel-drive system allowed to reduce the time from 0 to 100 km/h by 0.3s (now 4.9s) with the top speed remaining at 247 km/h.
Finally, with regard to dynamics, CUPRA made improvements in the calibration of steering and throttle response.
The Adaptive Chassis Control system allows changing the damping parameters while driving. For now, it is not known when the renewed CUPRA Ateca will arrive in Portugal or how much it will cost.
