Initially, it was just one, a single unit created for the founder of Pagani, Horacio Pagani, which also aimed to mark the end of production of what was the first model of the Italian brand. And that, over almost two decades, it has known various versions and derivations.
However, and certainly a consequence of the impact it caused, Pagani ended up deciding to go ahead with the availability of more units of the commemorative barchetta version, which, it is now known, even already have a defined price — nothing more, nothing less than 15 million euros ! A bargain, isn't it?...
The announcement was made by the manufacturer itself, which, in statements to the British Top Gear, confirmed that the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta will become, most likely, the most expensive car that is possible to buy today; more expensive until, for example, the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, the “one-off” whose price is around 11.1 million euros, considered the most expensive “new” car in the world.
There will only be three, and they already have an owner
As might be expected, with so few units to be built—only three—according to Pagani, they already have a designated owner; one of them is that of Horacio Pagani himself!

Remember that the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, whose acronym HP is an allusion to the initials of the founder's name, is based on a block V12 7.3 l of AMG origin, with 800 hp of power , coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox.
