The Super Bowl is the premier sporting event in the US, reaching more than 110 million spectators in that country alone. This year is the 50th edition.
The Super Bowl, the grand final of American football, takes place tonight. It's such a big and important event in the US that everything surrounding it is accompanied by gigantic numbers. In the last issue, a 30-second ad cost $4.5 million.NOT TO BE MISSED: Retromobile Salon, the great classics event (gallery with 100 images)
As an example, watching the match live – this year the final takes place at the San Francisco 49ers team's Levi's Stadium – is far from accessible. The cheapest and farthest ticket from the field costs 3,000 dollars and the most expensive (behind the players' bench) costs 15,000 dollars – values that can triple in the parallel market.
As always, one of the attractions of the Super Bowl is the breaks. All brands spend millions in seconds to achieve the projection that only an event of this magnitude allows and car brands are no exception. This year there are ten car ads and the vast majority belong to the South Korean brand KIA. Check each of them here:
