After several rumors, Volkswagen has just confirmed the arrival at dealerships of its new crossover, the T-Cross, for this year that has just begun. And that, reveals the German brand, will bring more news, not only in terms of models, but even in competition.
The launch of the little brother of the “Portuguese” T-Roc, which the latest information indicates will be officially presented at the next Geneva Motor Show, in March, will be based on the new Volkswagen Polo. It is to be expected, therefore, that it will receive the latest generation of German utility vehicles, engines and technologies.
Unlike the T-Cross Breeze concept, introduced in 2016, the new crossover will have a closed body and five doors.
Year starts with up! GTI
Thus and in addition to the T-Cross, in the pipeline, and made official, there is, now, the new Volkswagen up! GTI, the smallest of the hot hatch, with its arrival scheduled soon, as well as the new Touareg, a model anticipated by the T-Prime Concept GTE prototype and whose launch should take place in the spring.
In the field of electric vehicles, it is expected the arrival of a new member, yet to be unveiled, for a family that already has three proposals: the compact I.D., the MPV I.D. Buzz and the crossover I.D. Crozz. It now remains to know, not only the lines, but also the positioning, of this new 100% electric proposal of the double V brand.

Last but not least, is the announcement of Volkswagen's return, to the mythical North American race in which the German manufacturer competed, for the last time, in 1986, with an unusual two-engine Golf — a machine we have already looked into.
