In this drag race the Peugeot 3008 and the Hyundai Tucson presented themselves equipped with diesel engines. The Peugeot 3008 uses the 1.5 BlueHDi with 130 hp and 300 Nm sent to the front wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Hyundai Tucson has the 1.6 CRDi with 136 hp and 320 Nm of torque. The big difference is that these are sent to all four wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
