Used to using the Volkswagen Group's models as a basis for its transformations, and those of Audi in particular, ABT Sportsline went back to work and created the Audi RS6-R , starting from the all-powerful RS 6 Avant.
The recipe applied in the creation of this RS6-R is in every way similar to that used in other ABT Sportsline creations: more power, more aggressive appearance and revised ground connections.
Starting with what stands out the most, the aesthetic, the Audi RS6-R received a front bumper with a splitter in carbon fiber (a material that also appears in the mirrors); new side skirts; a new spoiler; a new rear diffuser and massive 22” wheels.
Inside, there are new floor mats, new entry lights, a carbon fiber and leather steering wheel and, of course, the RS6-R and ABT logos.
Audi RS6-R numbers
As usual with ABT Sportsline transformations, the biggest changes occur at the mechanical level and the Audi RS6-R is no exception.

As such, the 4.0 V8 biturbo saw power rise from an already impressive 600 hp and 800 Nm on the RS 6 Avant to an even more impressive one. 730 hp and 920 Nm in RS6-R.
These numbers allow the Audi RS6-R to reach 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2s, 0.4s less than the standard RS 6 Avant.
How did you get it?
To achieve this power increase, ABT Sportsline technicians not only installed new turbos, but also an intercooler of their own manufacture, a new exhaust system and also carried out the traditional “software tweaks”.
Still in the field of modifications, the RS6-R received height-adjustable shock absorbers and stabilizer bars from ABT Sportsline.
ABT Sportsline's goal is to produce just 125 units of the Audi RS6-R. The transformation package (not including the Audi RS6 Avant ) costs from 69 900 euros.
