Land Rover has unveiled its first convertible compact SUV, which combines traditional Evoque lines with a versatile canvas hood to create an uncompromising convertible.
As we had the opportunity to prove in offroad tests, Land Rover wanted to incorporate the brand's renowned off-road capabilities in a 4-seater convertible SUV, with an elegant design that remains faithful to the original model.
The automatic roof works at speeds below 48 km/h, taking 18 seconds to open and 21 seconds to close. Despite being the longest and widest canvas hood on the market, the brand guarantees that the volume of the luggage compartment has not been affected, thus providing comfort equivalent to a 5-door Evoque while maintaining functionality and practicality.
At the center of the cabin is a new 10.2-inch high-resolution touchscreen that incorporates the latest generation of Jaguar Land Rover's infotainment system, the InControl Touch Pro. Of course, the Evoque Convertible it also has integration for smartphones and 3G connection.

In terms of safety, the Evoque Convertible is equipped with a protection device that, in the event of a rollover, activates a double safety arch with an integrated bar system hidden under the rear of the body, all in just 90 minutes. milliseconds.
The Range Rover Evoque Convertible will be available with four-cylinder diesel and petrol engines from Land Rover, with powers up to 240hp in the Si4 petrol. The transmission goes through a Land Rover nine-speed automatic transmission, which also benefits from the Terrain Response® system, the Ford Passage Sensor and the All-Terrain Progress Control system.
