Range Rover Evoque will not have a convertible version, on the other hand it will be able to receive a panoramic roof version.
Unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Range Rover Evoque Convertible will not see the light of day after all, or better yet: sun! Despite the positive reviews that the model received, the brand decided not to proceed with the production of this variant.
The reasons are not known, but it is suggested that they may be linked to the low sales prospect or the high production costs. The publication Car&Driver, which brought this news to light, even advances with the possibility that the project was rejected due to design issues. The roof line, one of the most important design features of a model, could be too compromised with the canvas roof.
In any case, the British brand does not exclude the possibility of launching a panoramic roof version, similar to those we know of models like the Citroen DS3 Cabrio or Fiat 500C.
