The new Mercedes-Benz CLS brings completely new four- and six-cylinder in-line engines in both Diesel and petrol versions, with EQ Boost and 48V on-board electrical system.
- CLS 350d 4Matic — 286 hp, 600 Nm, combined consumption of 5.6 l/100 km, CO2 emissions of 148 g/km.
- CLS 400 4Matic — 340 hp, 700 Nm, combined consumption of 5.6 l/100 km, CO2 emissions of 148 g/km.
- CLS 450 4Matic — 367 hp + 22 hp, 500 Nm + 250 Nm, combined consumption of 7.5 l/100 km, CO2 emissions of 178 g/km.
The new in-line six-cylinder engine, electrified with the system EQ Boost (integrated starter/alternator) and the 48V on-board electrical system provide the power and energy required for the CLS 450 4MATIC.
The integrated EQ Boost electric motor not only assists the combustion engine, it allows driving with the combustion engine off (“freewheeling”) and supplies battery power through the highly efficient energy recovery system.

The series Edition 1 , will be available for about a year, and is equipped as standard with many luxurious features.
