Is the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 not extreme enough? Manthey Racing has the solution

Responsible for transforming the Porsche 911 GT2 RS into one of the fastest cars on the Nürburgring, Manthey Racing decided to apply its “magic” to another product of the Stuttgart brand: the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4.

Contrary to what happens in many transformations of this kind, Manthey Racing chose not to change the mechanics of the 718 Cayman GT4. In this way, we continue to have a 4.0 l atmospheric boxer six-cylinder.

The result? 420 hp and 420 Nm that are sent to the rear wheels through a manual gearbox with six gears that allows you to fulfill 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4s and reach a maximum speed of 304 km/h.

So what has changed?

If the engine and the amounts charged by it remain unchanged, after all what has Manthey Racing brought to the 718 Cayman GT4, which was renamed Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 MR?

The work carried out by the German trainer focused on ground connections and improving performance on the track. Thus, the 718 Cayman GT4 MR debuts a new suspension scheme and an also new braking system. Gold BBS wheels are also new (and lighter than the originals) and feature sports tyres.
