However, this customization doesn't always go well, and the Porsche Panamera we're talking about today is proof of it. Painted (or vinylized) in flashy gold, this Panamera was banned from driving because, according to authorities in its hometown of Hamburg, Germany, it was a danger to other drivers.
According to the German website Hamburger Morgenpost, the ban on driving and the respective seizure arose after a first warning made by the authorities for the owner to change the car's paintwork and several complaints from drivers who accused the golden Panamera of linking them. Since this change did not take place, the Panamera was eventually seized.
Now, having seen his car impounded, the owner of this flashy Porsche Panamera is considering taking the case to court. All to defend your right to have a car painted in the color you want.
